Postdoctoral Research Scientist

The NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow in Imaging Data Science to contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of imaging and data science.
About the Role- Develop and apply advanced imaging techniques and analysis methods to drive innovation in medical research.
- Collaborate with experts in imaging, computational science, and biomedical research to advance our understanding of complex diseases.
- Work with a wide array of methods, including high-field MRI imaging, chronic microelectrode implantation, and computational analysis to drive breakthroughs in medical research.
- Undergo comprehensive training and assist in performing standard laboratory and research procedures to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform a variety of research procedures, including MRI experiments combined with other approaches to drive innovation in medical research.
- Conduct advanced data analysis and help maintain equipment to ensure the highest level of performance and efficiency.
- Prepare publications and presentations, and assist with proposals to communicate research findings and secure funding.
- Doctorate in Medicine or Biology with a strong background in imaging and data science.
- 3 Years of experience in a professional research laboratory with a proven track record of innovation and collaboration.
- Experience with preclinical models, Bruker imagers, behavior testing, anesthesia, and computer programming skills (e.g., Matlab) to drive breakthroughs in medical research.
