Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at The Mather in Evanston. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service throughout our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Cleaning Schedules and Projects: Establish and track cleaning schedules and project lists to ensure all areas of the community are clean and well-maintained.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Communicate regularly with residents regarding cleaning schedules and projects, and provide excellent customer service to ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Supply Management: Track usage of housekeeping supplies and submit requests for purchase to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor staff performance and provide regular updates to supervisors regarding housekeeping operations and resident feedback.
  • Event Support: Assist with community and room setup for resident and employee events and activities.
Requirements
  • Education: High school degree or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills: Bi-lingual in Spanish.
  • Experience: Previous housekeeping and training experience.
