About the Role:

SavATree is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our branch operations in Evanston and Northbrook. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our branch, while also driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Branch Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, including scheduling and coordinating field personnel and equipment, managing inventory of supplies, and overseeing equipment repair/maintenance.
  • Lead and Mentor Field Personnel: Hire, lead, and mentor our field personnel to ensure customer satisfaction, while also enforcing SavATree's policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate Training and Development: Take ownership of coordinating training and development resources for our employees, including safety training.
  • Manage Branch Reporting: Maintain the branch's reporting of profits and losses.

Requirements:

  • Management Experience: Two plus years in management experience.
  • Education: A Degree in Business Management or Arboriculture, Forestry, Environmental Sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership Skills: The enthusiasm to lead and mentor individuals, with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet employees' needs.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
