Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented graduate student to join our Research and Development team as a Quantitative Research Assistant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop their skills, and contribute to the growth of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with associates from the Research and Development team to bring research projects to completion.
  • Develop and implement quantitative research projects using Python and SQL.
  • Investment research/analytics automation through Python and SQL.

Requirements:

  • Current graduate student in a Master's level program or pursuing a PhD in Finance, Math, Statistics, or Economics.
  • Strong mathematical skills with an emphasis on statistical methods.
  • Computer skills should include knowledge of programming (Python and SQL preferred).
  • Ability to work under direction on 2-3 projects simultaneously.
  • Basic knowledge of quantitative investment approaches to investing.
  • Good communication and writing skills and the ability to work with senior members of the team.
