About the Role

We are seeking a UX Researcher to join our team at Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX). As a UX Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting user research to identify opportunities for improving the software builder experience at Amazon. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to understand user needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research to identify opportunities for improving the software builder experience at Amazon
  • Work closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to understand user needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Develop and implement research plans to gather data and insights on user behavior and needs
  • Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders and contribute to the development of solutions that meet user needs

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with UX research, including formative, generative, and evaluative methodological approaches
  • Mixed method experience, including qualitative and quantitative research
  • Portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables
  • BS in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or related discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS or Ph.D. in Human Factors, HCDE, Cognitive Psychology, or similar
  • Experience with Generative AI
  • Quantitative research skills, including experience with cluster analysis, MaxDiff, surveys, and behavioral telemetry
