About the Role

US Main is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in the Dallas territory. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, driving sales growth, and providing technical support to our customers in the corrosion-resistant and high-purity fluid and air-handling products industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact and visit customers to build and maintain relationships
  • Compile a list of prospective customers for use as sales leads
  • Generate written quotes and follow up until the order is placed or lost
  • Talk with existing customers to determine current/future needs and build the relationship
  • Introduce new products to clients and prospects using samples or catalog, displays, or product demonstration
  • Quote prices and credit terms established and prepare sales orders
  • Communicate with the warehouse as to the estimated date of delivery of product to the customer
  • Gather current marketplace information on pricing, products, merchandising techniques, etc. for the Sales Manager
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
  • Attend sales meetings as required
  • Maintain Outlook calendar day, prepare call reports weekly, and keep vehicle/maintenance log and expense accounts monthly
  • Cover customer service duties as needed in the absence of other customer service personnel
About the Company

US Main is a distributor of corrosion-resistant and high-purity fluid and air-handling products with five branches and an international presence in Chile and Mexico. Our products include pipe and fittings, valves, pumps, tanks, structural materials, tubing, hose fittings, expansion joints, sheets, bars, and other fiberglass and plastic products.

Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one to two years of related sales or customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Background in the plastic industry a plus
  • Results-driven technical sales professional with a proven track record in valve automation and controls
  • Expertise in building and nurturing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and providing technical support
  • Adept at adapting to new challenges and exceeding customer expectations
  • Demonstrate technical expertise and product knowledge
  • Conduct thorough research to identify and capitalize on new construction projects, expanding market penetration and driving revenue growth
  • Collaborate closely with regional and local management to manage customer accounts, address delivery concerns
