Position Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the design and development of innovative engineering solutions that support our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and refinement of design calculations, technical documentation, engineering plans, and specifications for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to conduct research, development, and calculations, applying engineering techniques and design criteria for projects of varying complexity.
- Utilize technical expertise to aid in the execution and assessment of project designs.
- Develop both conceptual and detailed designs, ensuring alignment with current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of diverse projects for HNTB's clients.

What You Will Do:
- Complete assigned tasks within the designated schedule and hours.
- Prepare and modify project reports, plans, designs, and calculations as needed.
- Develop project quantities and assist in the preparation of cost estimates.
- Provide organizational and administrative support to engineering teams regarding design files.
- Independently perform various tasks, including research, data collection, field investigations, and project development.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in Engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Primary Focus Areas:
- Design of low and medium voltage power distribution systems, including roadway, tunnel, and building lighting, security systems, and communications.
- Provide engineering support during construction phases.

Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in Engineering.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
