Job Description

The Rehancement Group, Inc. (TRG) is a professional services and consulting firm dedicated to delivering exceptional support to our Government clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Records Management Specialist to join our team in supporting a Federal client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and Scan Records: Remove staples, paper clips, and binder clips from hard copy records, and reassemble physical files to their original condition.
  • Electronic Document Management: Scan hard-copy files to electronic images and maintain accurate records.
  • File Maintenance and Organization: Burn project CDs, file mail, retrieve, and return files to shelves, and box records for shipment.
  • Record Destruction and Inventory: Destroy records, create records inventories, and perform data entry.
  • Classification and Review: Conduct page-by-page reviews of files, identify and mark records for further review by classification staff, and inventory records.
  • Shipping and Logistics: Box records for shipments, verify the date of files for transfer eligibility, and palletize records for shipment.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other analytical records management-related functions as requested.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience required.
  • Security Clearance: Active DOD Top Secret Clearance is required (must be eligible for CI Poly).
  • Technical Skills: Ability to independently perform assigned records management functions, access, research, and utilize application(s) and database(s), including Content Manager, Sentinel, HR Source, DIVS, and CATS.
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Ability to perform research and analysis on documents based on established business rules and security policies, and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods, climb ladders to access shelving and files, and lift up to 50 pounds.
