Document Control Specialist

J C FORD COMPANY is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our document management team, you will be responsible for categorizing, filing, and retrieving documents using specific classification and organization systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic documents, ensuring they are properly stored and easily accessible.
- Develop and implement effective filing systems to ensure documents are accurately categorized and easily retrievable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documents are properly distributed and updated.
- Perform quality control checks on documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain document control procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in document management or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management software.
Working Conditions:
This role will be performed in an office setting with occasional visits to the production floor and warehouse.
