Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Outreach and Education Specialist to conduct outreach and development community partnerships. The successful candidate will provide consultation and education to community partners, conduct culturally and linguistically appropriate screening and assessments, and develop individualized intervention plans to address the needs of families and children birth to eight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain community partnerships to promote the program and services.
- Provide consultation and education to community partners on evidence-based practices and interventions.
- Conduct culturally and linguistically appropriate screening and assessments to identify behavioral and developmental concerns in families and children birth to eight.
- Develop individualized intervention plans to address the needs of families and children birth to eight.
- Provide in-home and virtual mental health consultation for program participants.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in an electronic health record.
- Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity in working with families from diverse backgrounds.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, sociology, education, counseling or a related field.
- One year of experience working with families and children birth to eight preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
