This role serves as the lead behavior specialist for the Regional Intervention Program (RIP), a parent-implemented, professionally-supported program for young children and their families who are experiencing challenging behaviors.

This position will work with families with children ages 2 through 6 who are experiencing challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support program operation by scheduling activities, empowering families to utilize learned skills, and conducting treatment conferences.
  • Collect, record, and analyze data from parent and child observations, and assist in covering tasks of absent staff as needed.
  • Prepare and monitor data on child behavior, write classroom behavior programs, and track family progress in treatment.
  • Document treatment progress and plans, and provide liaison services to graduated families upon request.
  • Participate in meetings and trainings, and perform miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
  • Graduates of the RIP program are preferred.
  • Education equivalent to a standard high school diploma, successful completion of the Regional Intervention Program, and two years of work experience in mental health, child development, or a related field.
