Job Summary:

Maury Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for performing tests and reporting results for use in the diagnosis, treatment, and/or monitoring treatment of diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tests and report results in all areas of the laboratory, including hematology, bacteriology, chemistry, and blood bank.
  • Operate equipment or instruments necessary to perform high-volume, less difficult analytical tests.
  • Recognize abnormal or unusual test results and follow departmental policy for reporting critical values.
  • Perform and record all quality control procedures required for tests assayed.

Requirements:

  • Licensure as a Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist (ASCP) is required.
