Position Overview: Salesforce Billing - QTC Revenue Recognition Solution Architect
As a Solution Architect specializing in Revenue Recognition, you will serve as a subject matter expert on projects related to Revenue Recognition, managing client deliverables, proposals, exploring new business avenues, and overseeing knowledge resources. You will work closely with the Product Owner, fellow Architects, and clients to understand requirements and facilitate the creation of high-quality solutions that align with specified needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the technical lead for Revenue Recognition initiatives with clients
  • Convert business requirements into effective solutions utilizing platforms such as Zuora Revenue and others
  • Provide precise effort estimates for proposed solutions, outlining benefits and risks
  • Deliver expert technical guidance to consultants, analysts, and developers
  • Stay informed about new Revenue Recognition products and technological advancements
  • Support sales initiatives by estimating technical efforts
  • Conduct presentations and develop proof of concepts for prospective clients
  • Demonstrate thought leadership through publications, public speaking, and client engagements
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Lead or participate in technical discussions and design workshops
  • Facilitate customer demonstrations and gather requirements
  • Configure and test Revenue Recognition applications
  • Create architecture diagrams for both technical and business audiences
  • Provide billing strategies and project oversight
  • Conduct candidate interviews
  • Travel Requirement: Up to 50%
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in Quote to Cash within a professional services environment
  • Familiarity with revenue recognition tools such as Zuora Revenue, Oracle Revenue Management, etc.
  • 5-7 years of experience in customer-facing solution delivery or business consulting
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred
  • Proven leadership in engaging clients and designing impactful solutions
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, business analysis, and system design
  • Experience in revenue recognition solutions and data analysis
  • Strong team player with exceptional communication skills
  • Experience managing tasks across multiple projects
