Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for analyzing and preparing department budget data, conducting financial and budget analysis, and preparing financial and cost accounting reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and prepare department budget data to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Conduct financial and budget analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Prepare financial and cost accounting reports to provide insights to management
  • Coordinate budget processes to ensure timely and accurate budget submissions
  • Develop financial forecasting systems to predict future financial trends
  • Supervise clerical staff to ensure efficient and effective financial operations
  • Maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking of assets
  • Review and prepare contracts to ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Provide budget information to other departments to ensure seamless financial operations

Requirements:

  • Certifications: None
  • Work Experience: 3 years
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
