Position Overview:


The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the camp's facilities, grounds, and equipment for the enjoyment of campers, staff, volunteers, and guests.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning duties in camp buildings as assigned, including restrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling in designated areas.
  • Clean windows and glass surfaces as instructed.
  • Conduct vacuuming, scrubbing, and sweeping of indoor and outdoor areas as needed.
  • Report facility concerns and supply requirements to the facility coordinator.
  • Assist with laundry services for linens as required.
  • Participate in deep cleaning initiatives when requested.
  • Attend facility and staff meetings as necessary.

It is essential to model positive behavior for campers by adhering to all safety and security protocols, policies, and procedures.

Foster effective communication and collaboration with all staff and volunteers.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Ability to engage positively with both youth and adults.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assigned duties with guidance and supervision from the Maintenance Director.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.
