Position: Controller – Construction

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and organized professional with a strong work ethic and exceptional communication abilities. This role requires a proactive approach to learning and collaboration to enhance processes and workflows, as well as the capacity to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee construction project accounting and financial reporting.
2. Manage invoicing through Procore, ensuring timely project collections and communications.
3. Ensure compliance with sales tax reporting requirements.
4. Facilitate effective communication among all project team members.
5. Supervise and provide backup for all accounts payable and receivable functions.
6. Perform various monthly accounting tasks.

Dedicated and enthusiastic individuals who are eager to contribute to a successful team are encouraged to apply. Strong computer proficiency is essential, and while experience in construction accounting is preferred, it is not mandatory. Familiarity with Procore and Intacct is highly desirable. This role involves oversight of a full-charge bookkeeper and operates under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer.
