Restaurant Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Franchise Management Services. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Restaurant Manager and Shift Leaders to deliver exceptional guest experiences, drive sales, and maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Support Restaurant Manager: Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including floor operations, brand training programs, and team management.
- Lead Team Meetings: Lead team meetings to discuss sales performance, guest feedback, and operational improvements.
- Oversee Brand Training: Schedule, train, validate, and certify team and shift lead staff on brand standards, recipes, and systems.
- Ensure Brand Standards: Ensure that brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed consistently across the restaurant.
- Create Guest-Focused Culture: Foster a guest-focused culture in the restaurant by promoting a positive and welcoming environment.
- Review Guest Feedback: Review guest feedback results and implement action plans to drive improvement.
- Communicate Restaurant Priorities: Communicate restaurant priorities, goals, and results to restaurant team members.
- Execute New Product Rollouts: Execute new product rollouts, including training, marketing, and sampling, in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
- Control Costs: Control costs to help maximize profitability and meet restaurant budget goals.
- Manage Inventory: Manage inventory on a periodic basis as determined by the Franchisee.
- Support Restaurant Manager in Labor Scheduling: Support the Restaurant Manager in completing the weekly labor schedule to ensure all shifts are staffed to meet guest demand and service standards.
- Support Restaurant Manager in Staff Deployment: Support the Restaurant Manager in assigning staff and deploying them effectively.
- Support Restaurant Manager in Supplier and Vendor Orders: Support the Restaurant Manager in completing supplier and other vendor orders.
- Conduct Self-Assessments: Conduct self-assessments and corresponding action plans to improve performance.
- Manage Cash Over/Short: Manage cash over/short in the restaurant and ensure team members are following the Franchisee's cash management policies.
- Engage with Dunkin' Brands Field Operations Team: Engage with the Dunkin' Brands Field Operations team as appropriate.
- Recruit, Hire, Onboard, and Develop Team Members: Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop restaurant team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Assist Team and Shift Lead Performance Appraisal Process: Assist team and shift lead performance appraisal process to ensure accurate and fair evaluations.
- Coach Restaurant Team Members: Coach restaurant team members to drive sales, improve profitability, and guest satisfaction.
- Basic Computer Skills: Possess basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Fluent in Spoken and Written English: Be fluent in spoken and written English to effectively communicate with team members, guests, and other stakeholders.
- Basic Math and Financial Management: Possess basic math and financial management skills to manage inventory, control costs, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Previous Leadership Experience: Have previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality to demonstrate ability to lead and manage a team.
