Technical Sales Representative

At Laticrete International, we're seeking a skilled Technical Sales Representative to promote our high-performance masonry veneer systems.

As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for creating demand for our products and services through major contractor customers and distributor partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending training sessions and traveling with experienced technical sales reps to learn company products, procedures, culture, and philosophy in dealing with customers.
  • Assisting and accompanying distributor sales personnel in training and motivation at company technical training sessions on a periodic basis.
  • Implementing pricing policies within market segments as directed.
  • Maintenance of Project Tracking files and Competitive Pricing files.
  • Submitting quarterly reports summarizing Laticrete performance and current competitive activity through intelligence gathering.
  • Investigating, documenting, and reporting all complaints and claims for service in territory and coordinating same with Technical Service Division.
  • Attending annual North America Sales Meeting, and annual trade shows as assigned.

Requirements include:

  • Previous experience selling masonry veneer products or related building products strongly desired.
  • Relocation, if required.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Spanish language proficiency (written and verbal) highly preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Access.
  • Intermediate knowledge of and functional proficiency in ERP and CRM systems; Oracle EnterpriseOne and CRM OnDemand preferred.
  • High School Diploma required or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Travel will be approximately 30-50% within the territory.
