Pest Control Technician Job Description

PestCo LLC is seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician to join our team in Columbia, Maryland. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for performing pest control inspections and services for commercial accounts on a defined route.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform pest control inspections and services for commercial accounts on a defined route.
  • Apply pesticides according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
  • Perform exclusion work.
  • Respond to customer inquiries quickly and thoroughly via email, text, or phone call.
  • Generate new business by visiting potential new customers and signing them up for service.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' commercial pest control experience.
  • Certified Pesticide Applicator in MD (additional certification in DC and VA a plus).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
