Overview

At TechFlow, we're seeking a skilled HVAC Controls Specialist to join our team at Fort Jackson. This is an exciting opportunity to work in energy management and contribute to the repair and maintenance of buildings and equipment.

Salary

The annual salary for this position is $95,000 - $105,000, plus employer-paid insurance, reflecting the competitive market and location.

Job Description

As an HVAC Controls Specialist, you will apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and calibrating electronic components for EMCS (Energy Management Control System) computer control
  • Troubleshooting, maintaining, modifying, and repairing heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems and equipment
  • Designing and implementing modifications to the interrelation of files and records within programs in consultations with higher-level staff
  • Monitoring the operation of assigned programs and responding to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding
  • Implementing and/or maintaining assigned portions of a scientific programming project, applying established scientific programming techniques to well-defined mathematical, statistical, engineering, or other scientific problems

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in setting up, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and calibrating electronic components for EMCS (Energy Management Control System) computer control
  • Troubleshooting, maintaining, modifying, and repairing heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems and equipment
  • Experience in installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and replacing control systems
  • Knowledge of Johnson Controls Facility Explorer (Niagara 4), CCT, Metasys Platforms, and Distech
  • A valid driver's license and ability to obtain a N4 Certification if you don't already have one
  • EPA Universal Refrigeration License
  • Regular, dependable attendance and citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations
