Position Overview

Serco is excited to offer a remarkable opportunity for individuals passionate about high-stakes projects in support of the U.S. Navy. The Surface Training Systems (STS) Program Office is pivotal in reshaping Navy training across the fleet. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the training landscape for the Sailor 2025 vision. Flexibility for a hybrid work schedule is available, requiring occasional office presence and customer visits.

Role Responsibilities

The Fleet Intro Training Analyst will play a crucial role in our Readiness and Acquisition division, focusing on the planning, development, and documentation of Manpower, Personnel, and Training Requirements for Navy Surface Ship Programs. Key responsibilities include:
  • Acting as a collaborative team member, attending meetings and briefings to support the Program Manager.
  • Coordinating action items related to pre-commissioning efforts, ensuring effective tracking and follow-up.
  • Providing product support in the creation and updating of briefs for various ship classes, including DDG, CG, and LPD.
  • Managing workload and status for all relevant products while delivering manpower and training support for new construction and modernization programs.
  • Supporting PMS339 Pre-Commissioning functions, including CSPP Reviews and liaising with military personnel for awards and evaluations.
  • Leading and participating in working groups, program development forums, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to meet contract requirements.
  • Facilitating training working group meetings and analyzing training and manpower recommendations for new systems.
  • Reviewing and analyzing budget Task Planning Sheets (TPS) and developing briefs to support programmatic pre-commissioning needs.
Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
  • An Active Secret Clearance at the time of application.
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Educational requirements may be adjusted for candidates with over 5 years of applicable experience.
  • Navy shipboard experience as a Senior Enlisted or Junior Officer.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills for developing briefings and analytical reports for senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel (with Macros), Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive mindset, capable of transforming ideas into actionable products.
  • The ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
