Location/Area: National Capitol Region (on-site) with some travel required to attend meetings/ conferences.

Description:

Advisory, Analytical, and Subject Matter Expert (SME) Services are required to provide operational and technical support to aid leadership at Headquarters, United States Air Force HQ USAF in providing for the defense of the United States and allies/coalition partner nations. The Client’s requirements include employment of Air Advisor capabilities, managing Joint level Irregular Warfare tasks, supporting the Ready Airman Training (RAT) program, and supporting the Multi-Capable Airman (MCA) program for the Senior Executive Authority. AP3SI is seeking experienced subject matter experts with knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience to meet HQ USAF, Joint Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) tasks and US Congressional inquiries.

Ready Airman Training Analyst Duties Required:

● Provides operational expertise in the areas of non-Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) education and training as well as knowledge of deployment and individual readiness requirements. Efforts require close working relationship with Air Education and Training Command as well as other MAJCOMs membership on Air Force, Joint Staff and OSD level work groups to enable easy flow of decision level information to the Director of Operations and Readiness. Coordination with Joint, DoD and other Services as related to readiness and deployment training to support Ready Airmen Training and its connections to Air Force Force-Generation (AFFORGEN), Agile Combat Employment (ACE), Multi-Capable Airmen (MCA), and other deployment models. Specific areas of support include Air Force Instruction (AFI), conducting annual Advanced Ready Training data call and producing subsequent Training Guidance Letter.

● Conducts open-source and classified research and analysis related to Air Force strategy development, strategy implementation, and participation in defense strategy reviews.

● Prepares background papers and briefings for senior leaders.

Qualifications/Requirements:

● SECRET security clearance required. Please do not apply if you do not have this.

● Must have a bachelor's degree (BA, BS, etc.) as a minimum. / a Master's Degree is desired.

● Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the U.S. Air Force / Desired: experience in the Air Education and Training Command.

● Must have experience within the last five (5) years in supporting individual Airmen deployment and readiness requirements, as well as USAF ACE and AFFORGEN concepts. Delivery of this capability requires relevant expertise and experience supporting long term and future architecture planning efforts.

● Must have Knowledge of Air Force Service-level planning and programming (this should be highlighted in your resume).
