Position: Aviation Logistics Requirements Analyst

Are you ready to play a vital role in supporting the operational success of the Navy and Marine Corps? KBR, Inc is seeking an Aviation Logistics Requirements Analyst to facilitate the requirements and resource allocation for the Navy and Marine Corps fleet. Your contributions will be essential in assisting the Chief of Naval Operations Staff (OPNAV), Logistics & Readiness Branch (N980L) through key responsibilities:

  1. Overseeing the implementation of policies and guidance related to the Fixed Induction Date (FID) and Integrated Maintenance Review Board (IMRB) processes.
  2. Providing comprehensive office management support to the Logistics & Readiness Branch.
  3. Collaborating with various stakeholders across the Logistics & Readiness Branch, OPNAV, and Pentagon staff, as well as Program Offices and Fleet Support Teams (FST).
  4. Ensuring the integration of IMRB processes to mitigate risks and enhance the operational capabilities of the Navy and Marine Corps.
  5. Engaging in policy development and strategic planning for FID and IMRB processes.
  6. Delivering office management support to OPNAV Logistics & Readiness, including the handling of Naval Messages, document management, security support, and personnel management.
  7. Conducting integrated logistics research to support the N980L portfolio programs.
  8. Acting as a liaison with N980L portfolio stakeholders and participating in relevant meetings and working groups.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline, or 13 years of equivalent experience in lieu of formal education.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in OPNAV or other Navy/Marine Corps senior staff-level business operations.
  3. An active SECRET level clearance is required.
  4. Familiarity with various Navy/Marine Corps business systems, including:
  • Defense Information System for Security (DISS) / Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)
  • Naval Defense – Naval Message – System; Automated Message Handling System (AMHS)
  • Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)
  • Naval Logistics Information Systems such as Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS), Decision Knowledge Programming for Logistics Analysis and Technical Evaluation (DECKPLATE), and Aircraft Inventory and Readiness Reporting System (AIRRS)
