Overview:

At CommonSpirit, we recognize that every individual has unique talents and a purpose. We are seeking a House Supervisor who will oversee the coordination and management of safe and effective patient care within the hospital. This role serves as a vital communication link among the Emergency Department, patient registration, licensed independent practitioners, and nursing units. As a House Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a clinical resource for the delivery and oversight of both direct and indirect patient care processes.
  • Providing competent leadership during hospital Codes and emergency situations.
  • Representing departmental and hospital executives in their absence and reporting significant concerns to the designated administrator on call.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of clinical RN experience.
  • Preferred one year of clinical leadership experience.
  • A BSN is required within two years of hire.
  • An MSN is preferred.
  • Current RN License to practice in Colorado or Kansas, as applicable.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • PALS or ENPC certification required upon hire or within three months of hire/transfer.

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Capable of exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

Pay Range: $66.91/hour
