Position Summary: The House Supervisor plays a crucial role in coordinating and directing safe and effective patient care and hospital operations. This position serves as a vital communication link among the Emergency Department, patient registration, licensed independent practitioners, and nursing units. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a clinical resource for the delivery and oversight of both direct and indirect care processes.
  • Providing competent leadership and direction during hospital Codes and emergency situations.
  • Representing department and hospital executives in their absence and reporting any concerns or incidents to the designated administrator on call.

Qualifications: To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • A minimum of two years of clinical RN experience.
  • Preferred one year of clinical leadership experience.
  • A BSN is required within two years of hire.
  • An MSN is preferred.
  • Current RN License to practice in Colorado or Kansas, as applicable.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • PALS or ENPC certification required upon hire or within three months of hire/transfer.

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.

Pay Range: Up to $66.91/hour

Shift: Variable
