Job Overview

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Sales and Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in driving business growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with referral sources to achieve the agency's expansion and revenue targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities are essential for this position, though additional tasks may be assigned as necessary:
  • Foster business development by dedicating a significant portion of the workday to field activities aimed at cultivating referral partnerships that yield qualified referrals.
  • Inform referral sources and the community about the referral process, unique selling points of the company, and the simplicity of making referrals.
  • Comprehend the principles of the private duty homecare model and stay updated on local market trends to effectively represent and distinguish Visiting Angels and its offerings.
  • Clearly communicate the advantages of private duty homecare services to both professional referral sources and potential clients.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing referral relationships with targeted accounts as outlined in the marketing strategy to boost referrals and meet business growth objectives.
  • Generate and submit required reports and documentation of sales activities within specified timeframes.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of various digital marketing strategies, including PPC, SEO, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns to enhance traffic and generate quality leads.
  • Utilize company resources effectively to ensure a favorable return on investment.
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing plan by evaluating community needs, defining marketing strategies and objectives, identifying key accounts, and outlining specific marketing actions with measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain effective communication with the agency team and referral sources.
  • Exhibit regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform additional functions as assigned by management.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all information related to employees, clients, and their families.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Associate's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or Communications is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in the private duty homecare sector is preferred.
  • Proven public speaking abilities with strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), scheduling systems, and other healthcare-related software.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, including social media, SEO, and PPC.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Results-driven mindset.
  • Skill in building and maintaining relationships with referral sources.
  • Strong listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capacity to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate, and complete work tasks within deadlines while managing interruptions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to fostering goodwill for the agency among clients, their families, and referral sources, demonstrating a strong dedication to client service excellence.
  • Eligibility to work legally in the U.S.
