Position Summary
In the role of Land Manager, you will be instrumental in propelling the strategic expansion of the division by identifying, assessing, and acquiring land parcels. Your efforts will ensure that projects are optimally positioned and executed with precision. You will work in close collaboration with various departments, including Construction and Purchasing, to promote ongoing improvement and sustain project progress.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Land Acquisition: Discover and assess potential land acquisition prospects through comprehensive market analysis, networking, and site evaluations.
- Due Diligence: Perform detailed due diligence on prospective sites, encompassing feasibility assessments, environmental reviews, and zoning evaluations.
- Negotiation: Spearhead negotiations with landowners, brokers, and other key stakeholders to secure land transactions that align with our strategic goals.
- Project Oversight: Manage the land development process, including financial planning, scheduling, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Market Research: Remain updated on local market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to inform decision-making.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with landowners, local government representatives, and industry peers.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or a similar field.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in real estate, Business, Urban Planning, or a related area is preferred.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify and secure lucrative land transactions, strong negotiation and communication skills, and exceptional project management capabilities.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of local market conditions, zoning regulations, and land development processes.
- Attributes: Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
