InSite Specialist

Job Summary

As an InSite Specialist at Clean Harbors, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of chemical waste. This position requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations and a commitment to maintaining a clean and sustainable work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of staging, accumulating, and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
• Prepare computer-generated packing lists, labels, manifests, and land disposal restrictions notifications.
• Identify and properly package hazardous waste for disposal, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate with customers to understand specific disposal restrictions and special packaging requirements.
• Sample and profile new waste streams or any waste requiring analytical testing.
• Ensure accurate drum counts and conditions meet company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of employment.
• Physical ability to perform job requirements.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical.

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree in Chemistry or Natural Science.
• Previous experience in Environmental Services.
