About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Parking Attendant - Driving Position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless parking experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing assistance when needed and communicating proactively.
  • Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces for a smooth parking experience.
  • Count vehicles on location throughout the shift, as needed.
  • Issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies; patrol transient and reserved parking levels as needed.
  • Provide assistance to customers who have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
  • Be responsible for being at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
  • Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
  • Communicate debris, water, oil spills and etc. to the garage office.
  • Substitute for Valets when necessary, if authorized.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area to assist customers in a seamless transportation experience.
  • Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • A valid state driver's license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
  • The ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus.
  • Availability to work special shifts if needed (2nd, 3rd shift and/or weekends).
  • Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (must provide valid documentation if hired).
  • The ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
  • The ability to read, write, add, and subtract US currency and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.
  • The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.
