Position Overview

We are currently in search of a Luxury Vehicle Attendant to enhance our dedicated team. This role may initially be temporary, with opportunities for permanent placement based on individual performance and organizational requirements.

Our team members are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and serve as the primary point of contact for residents and their guests. The ideal candidate will excel in creating a memorable client experience through meticulous service and attention to detail.

This position will report directly to the Lead Concierge and will be responsible for welcoming clients upon their arrival and addressing their specific needs. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of experience in concierge services, hospitality, or customer relations. Compensation will be based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between residents and the Property Manager, collaborating closely with the Building Superintendent.
  • Ensure security protocols are followed by monitoring access points and utilizing surveillance systems to maintain building safety.
  • Welcome residents, visitors, and service personnel, ensuring proper logging of non-resident entries.
  • Perform administrative duties such as updating logs and maintaining shift notes to facilitate smooth communication during shift changes.
  • Assist with clerical tasks as needed, including document filing and auditing daily transactions.
  • Safely drive, park, and retrieve vehicles for residents and guests in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, offering informed recommendations for dining, entertainment, and events.
  • Coordinate reservations, tickets, and accommodations for residents and their guests.
  • Assist the Lead Concierge in managing resident move-ins and move-outs, including elevator scheduling.
  • Ensure new residents receive orientation regarding community services and amenities.
  • Manage the receipt and delivery of packages, including dry cleaning, in accordance with building policies.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations and communicate with the appropriate personnel.
  • Log maintenance requests efficiently and follow up to ensure resident satisfaction.
  • In emergencies, contact relevant public services and follow established procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring timely communication of maintenance requests.
  • Assist in organizing and executing community events for residents.
  • Maintain safe and accessible walkways by removing snow and applying ice melt as necessary.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Lead Concierge or Property Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and meet driving criteria for the Luxury Vehicle Attendant role.
  • A minimum of two years of customer service experience is required.
  • Punctuality and the ability to remain alert throughout shifts are essential.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods is necessary.
  • Basic computer skills are required for administrative tasks.
  • Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
  • Self-motivated individuals who can work independently and resolve issues proactively are ideal.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to remain composed and attentive during busy periods and emergencies.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance must be maintained at all times.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.
  • Three professional references must be provided.
  • Ability to commute to the work location via public transportation is necessary, as on-site parking is not available.
