Job Summary

The Concessions and Facilities Supervisor plays a crucial role in the success of Cleveland Metroparks by overseeing the day-to-day operations of Huntington Concessions. This position assists the Park Manager and General Manager in managing staff, coordinating events, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure regular and predictable attendance and be prepared to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as required.
  • Maintain facility safety, cleanliness, and cost effectiveness.
  • Supervise and train seasonal staff, including cashiers, concession workers, fuel attendants, bartenders, servers, and retail employees.
  • Oversee employee schedules and time cards, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including daily logs, revenue reports, and personnel records.
  • Recommend corrective action when necessary and prepare discipline documents for approval.
  • Oversee, verify, and organize revenue for the facilities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to Health Department codes and regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with direct supervisors, keeping them informed of key issues and concerns.
  • Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, maintaining a safe work environment and surrounding area for oneself, colleagues, and the public.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
