**Key Responsibilities:**

The Medical Imaging Scheduler plays a vital role in providing efficient and effective support to medical imaging services. This includes scheduling outpatient imaging services for CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Radiology, as well as scheduling all imaging services generated through the emergency department.

**Requirements:**

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with an emphasis in healthcare, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training in a healthcare-related field.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Within six months (180 days) of hire, Medical Terminology Certification or successful completion of a Medical Terminology course.
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting, such as a physician's office, scheduler, or medical imaging department.
  • Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals, and authorizations.
  • Medical imaging experience.
