Patient Care Associate
The Patient Care Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics. Key responsibilities include greeting and directing patients, preparing daily schedules, and maintaining accurate patient records. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Handle high-volume incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Review patient charts and insurance referrals to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Assist physicians and administrators with various business and patient care responsibilities.
- Coordinate office communication and ensure seamless patient flow.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, demonstrating a caring and empathetic attitude.
- Ensure all patient demographic and insurance information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Answer telephones using proper etiquette and record messages as needed.
- Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Schedule new and follow-up appointments, including patient testing.
- Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
- Identify and collect co-pays, deductibles, and other payments.
- Reconcile patient payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare billing sheets and ensure accurate and timely submission.
- Direct billing inquiries to the appropriate regional office.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant regulations and policies.

The expected pay for this position ranges from $26.44 per hour. The actual pay range will be computed based on years of relevant experience.
