Commercial Lines Insurance Specialist

Kingspoint Insurance Agency is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Insurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our agency, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, providing expert advice on commercial insurance products, and ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, processing requests, and addressing concerns regarding their commercial insurance policies.
- Policy Servicing: Manage the day-to-day servicing of existing accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, claims, and audits.
- Client Needs Assessment: Work closely with clients to assess their insurance needs, providing expert advice on coverage options, ensuring adequate protection for their business.
- Quoting and Proposals: Assist in preparing insurance quotes, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs. This includes gathering necessary information, working with underwriters, and providing comparisons for the best options.
- Account Review: Conduct periodic reviews of client accounts to ensure accuracy of coverage, identify cross-sell opportunities, and suggest modifications or updates as needed.
- Claims Assistance: Support clients through the claims process by coordinating with insurance carriers, ensuring timely resolution, and keeping clients informed throughout the process.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and underwriting teams to support business development efforts and ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues related to client accounts, billing, or claims in a timely and effective manner.
- Client Retention: Play a key role in retaining and renewing existing accounts by providing superior customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial lines insurance (5+ years preferred).
- Insurance license required (CIC, CISR, or other relevant designations are a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products (e.g., property, liability, workers' compensation, auto, etc.).
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in insurance software systems (AMS360, Applied Epic, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
