About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Communications Planning Strategist to join our team at Bath & Body Works. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage our target audiences and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and coherence across all communication channels.
  • Design and implement integrated communication campaigns across multiple channels, including digital media, traditional media, events, and public relations.
  • Develop high-quality content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media posts, and other materials, to engage audiences and convey key messages.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists, and pitch narratives, coordinate interviews, and handle media inquiries to secure coverage.
  • Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure dedication and professional growth.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in communications planning, strategy development, and execution.
  • Strong understanding of communication principles, techniques, and standard processes.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to translate sophisticated ideas into clear and compelling messages.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a constantly evolving, time-critical environment.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and empower team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
