Job Summary

The Senior Sales Operations Strategist will play a critical role in supporting the VP of Sales in driving the success of the sales organization. This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing sales processes, managing sales-related projects, and ensuring the alignment of sales strategies with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the VP of Sales to create and refine sales strategies, analyzing market data to inform decisions and support long-term sales planning.
  • Project Management: Lead sales projects, coordinating with teams to ensure timely delivery, managing timelines and resources, and reporting progress to leadership.
  • KPI Management: Develop and monitor KPIs to track sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in current sales processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Sales Training Optimization: Help improve training programs and materials, ensuring the sales team continues to develop through ongoing training.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate sales data and generate reports to support decision-making, providing data-driven insights to guide sales strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication between the sales team and other departments, leading cross-functional initiatives that support sales goals.
  • Sales Tools and Technology: Oversee sales tools and systems, ensuring they are used effectively, and recommend and implement new technologies to enhance performance.
  • Budget Management: Assist with budget management, ensuring alignment with financial goals and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Sales Forecasting: Help create accurate sales forecasts using historical data and market trends, supporting the development of sales targets.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Mentor the sales operations team, fostering a culture of improvement and accountability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related role
  • Proven experience in project management, sales process optimization, and KPI management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales tools, and Google Suite
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and process-improvement skills
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
