POSITION SUMMARY: Drive sales growth and enhance market presence of Bell Laboratories' professional offerings within the pest management sector.
GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE: North West Region of the U.S., encompassing various states.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and nurture a robust distributor network and customer relationships to ensure extensive distribution of Bell Laboratories' product lines.
- Conduct regular visits to clients across the designated territory, aiming for 4-6 visits daily, including interactions with distributors and pest management professionals.
- Present new product offerings to pest control distributors and service providers.
- Deliver technical training sessions for distributor sales teams and pest control operators.
- Collaborate with pest management professionals during field inspections for challenging accounts.
- Facilitate presentations at industry meetings, conferences, and distributor gatherings.
- Participate in relevant trade shows and industry events.
- Formulate and execute an annual strategic business plan.
- Maintain consistent communication with management.
- Travel efficiently throughout the assigned territory.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business or marketing is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Previous sales experience within an established distribution framework is advantageous.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on follow-through.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain customer relationships.
- Self-sufficient and capable of working independently.
- Strong motivation and work ethic.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly PowerPoint/Keynote and customer management systems.
- Effective public speaking skills.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week.
TOOLS USED: Standard office equipment and a company vehicle.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Adequate hand-eye coordination for typing tasks.
