Diesel Mechanic Specialist

This position is responsible for working with the operations manager to support all rolling equipment, production equipment, and building maintenance at our recycling facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair rolling & mechanical equipment.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks.
- Operate cranes, loaders, and forklifts.
- Maintain written programs and documentation of maintenance schedules.
- Participate in special plant projects and anticipate shop needs.
- Engine technician experience.
- Journey-level experience in mechanical systems.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions.
- Troubleshooting skills and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of all safety practices related to the industry.
Working conditions are normal for a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. Exposure may involve lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, safety vest, hearing protectors, and steel-toed work boots, with metal sole liners.
Requirements:- 3 years of maintenance experience (preferred).
- MVR (preferred).
