Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Anesthesia Technician to support our anesthesia team in providing high-quality care. This role involves assisting Anesthesiologists and CRNAs in ensuring a well-maintained and organized operating room environment.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with variable shifts from Monday to Friday, including rotating Sundays. Candidates must be fluent in English and possess a solid understanding of surgical terminology along with prior experience in anesthesia technology.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least one year in a relevant role.
  • Preferred: Previous experience as an anesthesia technician and familiarity with surgical terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare anesthesia machines and necessary supplies for surgical procedures, ensuring efficiency during room turnover.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of anesthesia carts, machines, and supplies across all operating and procedural rooms.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia staff to manage inventory and ensure the availability of essential supplies.
  • Document and track medication usage accurately.
  • Respond promptly to requests from anesthesia providers during all phases of patient care.
  • Uphold the organization’s standards for quality service, teamwork, and professional development.
  • Address initial troubleshooting for anesthesia delivery systems and escalate issues as needed.
  • Provide courteous assistance to patients and staff.
  • Adhere to departmental standards for attendance, communication, and customer service.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Work Environment:
This position requires significant manual dexterity and the ability to lift heavy equipment. The role may involve exposure to various environmental factors typical in a healthcare setting.
