Summary:

2. Prepare and apply various therapeutic modalities, including proper patient positioning for effective therapy.
3. Assist patients with transfers and gait training to promote mobility.
4. Support selected wound care procedures, adhering to sterile techniques, and prepare and sanitize equipment. Ensure proper disposal of medical waste according to departmental guidelines.
5. Measure and communicate vital signs to the supervising therapist.
6. Welcome and interact with patients and their families to create a supportive atmosphere.
7. Manage inventory by stocking and ordering necessary supplies.
8. Keep therapeutic equipment organized, clean, and up to date with inspection requirements.
9. Assist in the distribution of patient satisfaction surveys and may help with scheduling and clerical tasks as needed.
10. Adhere to all compliance responsibilities associated with the role.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental needs.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent

Experience:

Required: 0 to 6 months of relevant experience
Desired: CPR certification is preferred; bilingual candidates are also preferred.

Working Conditions:

Manual: Requires significant manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity.
Occupational: Some occupational risks are present.
Physical Effort: Requires very heavy physical effort, with the ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force.
Physical Environment: Generally pleasant working conditions.
