Position Overview
As an interdisciplinary engineer specializing in mechanical, aerospace, and electronics systems, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing engineering tasks related to air vehicle systems. Your responsibilities will include:

Duties
- Coordinating acquisition activities to address scheduling challenges.
- Tailoring communication methods to suit various audiences and objectives.
- Leading the integration efforts of engineers and technical specialists to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Providing expert advice on program-related issues to facilitate solutions for integrated product teams.
- Managing resources, including budget, materials, and personnel, to achieve project goals.

Requirements
Conditions of Employment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be deemed suitable for federal employment.
- Participation in the direct deposit pay program is required.
- New hires will need to successfully complete the E-Verify employment verification process.

Qualifications
Your resume should demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, which includes:
1) Overseeing all engineering tasks related to air vehicles, including structures and sub-systems.
2) Managing resources for in-service support.
3) Prioritizing engineering efforts to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
4) Acting as the primary liaison with external stakeholders.

Education
Applicants must possess a professional engineering degree from an accredited institution or equivalent qualifications.

Additional Information
This position may require travel to various locations and the ability to work in remote or isolated environments. You will be expected to wear personal protective equipment as necessary and maintain required security clearances.
