Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Navigation and Guidance Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the integration of navigation systems and related airborne technologies.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years in navigation system integration or related airborne systems, encompassing both hardware and software components.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to achieve team objectives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Proficient in the integration and certification of aviation navigation systems and components, including Embedded GPS/INS (EGI), Radar Altimeter (Radalt), TACAN, VOR, ILS/GS, among others.
- Familiarity with SAE ARP4754/4761, DO-160, DO-201, DO-229, DO-236, AC, and 14 CFR Part 27 and 29.
- Comprehensive understanding of aerospace engineering processes, including requirements definition, allocation, validation, verification, integration, embedded software, electronic systems, FAA/EASA/NAA certification, and system safety protocols.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to foster and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
- Other engineering degrees such as Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Advanced degrees may be regarded as additional experience.
