Job Summary
J Patrick & Associates is seeking an experienced Business Development Leader to drive growth in our Audiovisual Channels business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand our distribution network and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and execute distribution agreements with leading distributors to expand our North American network
- Work closely with channel partners and distributors to promote our Audiovisual product lines
- Develop and execute sales plans, including targets, tactics, schedules, metrics, and KPIs
- Design and execute Demand Generation and Channel Marketing programs, content, and distribution
- Develop and execute effective channel partner programs, including training and enablement
- Work with stakeholders to improve supply chain management and optimize CRM adoption
- Collaborate with the Inside Sales team to maximize opportunities and partner satisfaction
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience working for a technology or device vendor in the audiovisual, AV/IT, or ProAV technology market
- 6-8 years of experience in a revenue development role, preferably developing indirect revenue streams via distribution, e-commerce, and/or VAR/SI channel partnerships
- Extensive experience with roles with revenue responsibility, such as sales management, Channel Management, Channel Marketing, or similar roles in Indirect/channel/Distribution sales business models
- Direct experience with some distributors essential: CDW, Softchoice, SHI, Insight, MicroAge, Connection
- Ability to articulate a value proposition and communicate effectively with stakeholders
