We are the largest US-owned manufacturer of electric transformers in North America, with over 50 years of experience in securing the reliability and resilience of our country's electric grid.
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop budgets and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources.
- Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personnel complaints in keeping with company policy.
- Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems.
Requirements:
- Four-year degree in technical or business discipline.
- 2-5 years of management experience or 8-10 years of management or supervisory experience.
- Preferred experience in electrical transformer manufacturing and industrial manufacturing.
Location: Pocatello, ID. Relocation assistance and competitive salary offered.
