Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and enforce safety policies, procedures, and protocols that align with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform routine safety evaluations and inspections to detect potential risks and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with different departments to cultivate a robust safety culture across the organization.
- Design and implement quality management frameworks to guarantee that products and services consistently meet or surpass customer expectations.
- Establish and oversee quality assurance processes, including inspections, testing, and comprehensive documentation.
- Investigate quality-related concerns, determining root causes and applying corrective and preventive measures.
- Lead safety and quality training sessions for employees to improve awareness and comprehension of relevant standards.
- Provide continuous education to personnel on industry best practices and new developments in safety and quality management.
- Conduct risk assessments to pinpoint potential hazards and devise strategies for risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with other teams to evaluate how operational decisions affect safety and quality outcomes.
- Champion continuous improvement projects aimed at refining safety and quality processes.
- Analyze performance data and feedback to identify improvement opportunities and implement necessary changes.
- Stay updated on evolving safety and quality regulations to ensure organizational compliance with relevant standards.
- Develop and execute emergency response strategies to address potential safety incidents, ensuring the protection of employees and the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in the technology and equipment utilized in environmental assessments.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software.
- ISO 9001 audit certification is a plus.
