We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have previous experience with CATV, aerial & underground construction, including performing quality inspections of the placement of aerial, buried and underground fiber optic and coaxial cable, conduit, grounding and bonding inspections, hand hole, pedestal and aerial terminal placement, documentation, and ensuring the adherence to standards and established procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of utility locating methods and experience using cable locating equipment. They will also have knowledge of buried, aerial and UG cable facilities, cable splicing, cable maintenance, OSP Fiber/Coaxial, and design or construction experience with OSP including Fiber to the Premise (FTTP) deployments.

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for developing and providing reports on conditions found, taking photos, documenting discrepancies and recommended fix actions where applicable. They will also be a motivated self-starter with a passion and drive to start and complete projects.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to travel through the week, with home on weekends most of the time. The successful candidate will have strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook, and smartphone skills, maps, and apps.
