Job Overview

Belair Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is on the lookout for a dedicated Healthcare Admissions Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update daily census records. Ensure accuracy of the Resident Days Report
  • Coordinate and manage referrals from hospital social workers
  • Facilitate admissions to the facility, ensuring nursing and other departments are informed
  • Organize and conduct facility tours
  • Communicate admissions, discharges, changes in care levels, payment statuses, and room assignments to relevant departments
  • Guide residents and families regarding Medicare and Medical Assistance eligibility
  • Support the Director of Social Services as required

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Admissions and Marketing within a Healthcare environment
