Healthcare Admissions Specialist

Belair Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is on the lookout for a dedicated Healthcare Admissions Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update daily census records. Ensure accuracy of the Resident Days Report
- Coordinate and manage referrals from hospital social workers
- Facilitate admissions to the facility, ensuring nursing and other departments are informed
- Organize and conduct facility tours
- Communicate admissions, discharges, changes in care levels, payment statuses, and room assignments to relevant departments
- Guide residents and families regarding Medicare and Medical Assistance eligibility
- Support the Director of Social Services as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Admissions and Marketing within a Healthcare environment
