In this position, you will leverage your mechanical skills to conduct maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for a variety of customer equipment needs. Embarking on a career with Butler means initiating a journey of both personal and professional development.
Compensation for a Generator Technician: $30.56/hr - $49.51/hr, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities of a Generator Technician:
The role will encompass, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
- Conduct maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agricultural equipment and systems.
- Exhibit troubleshooting skills across all diesel technology systems and components, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and power trains.
- Opportunity for overtime as workload permits (overtime pay at 1.5x hourly rate for hours exceeding 8 per day).
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment proactively.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
- Commit to continuous learning and training to stay current with industry standards and product updates.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Potential travel to other company and customer locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Capacity to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in computer technology.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Preferred ability to meet and maintain insurability standards for driving a company vehicle.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a quick learning aptitude.
- Preferred degree or certification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to acquire trade-specific tools, including hand and impact tools.
- Applied knowledge of basic mechanical principles.
- Must possess valid work authorization and be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
