Job Title: Concrete Superintendent

Christman Southeast Constructor is seeking a highly skilled Concrete Superintendent to lead our concrete activities on site. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our projects, focusing on safety, profitability, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of skilled tradesmen, including Carpenters, Laborers, Finishers, and Operators.
  • Develop and implement project work plans and schedules, ensuring timely completion and maximum profitability.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the project team, including the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Assistant Project Manager, to ensure project goals are met.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including materials and labor expenses.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with a strong background in concrete operations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or proven ability to fulfill the position.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR training.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in a supervisory role, with a strong background in concrete operations.
