Operations Manager

Duck Donuts is seeking an experienced leader in the foodservice industry to manage the daily operations of one or more shops, including hiring, onboarding, developing, and managing the performance of all team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional guest experiences through effective team management and coaching.
- Ensure adherence to Duck Donuts' product standards through proper recipe preparation, equipment maintenance, and ongoing training.
- Lead the team to achieve increased profits and growth by identifying areas of opportunity and implementing long-term solutions to improve operational efficiencies and marketing strategies.
- Manage finances, review critical reports, adhere to the operating budget, and evaluate expenses to identify areas for potential cost savings while maintaining quality and guest service standards.
- Successfully execute system-wide promotional campaigns, limited-time offers, training initiatives, and updates to policies, procedures, or recipes.
- Maintain proper staffing levels through hiring, scheduling, and managing staffing disruptions.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive culture for team members through positive behavior, incentive plans, addressing concerns, providing regular feedback, and demonstrating appreciation and recognition.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for safety, sanitation, and labor standards, as well as Duck Donuts' standards.
- Audit finances and record-keeping processes to ensure proper cash handling procedures are maintained.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years' experience in managing one or more foodservice outlets.
- Demonstrated track record of employee selection, onboarding, and development at all levels.
- Proven ability to drive financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team member satisfaction.
- Strong understanding of P&L statements and management of variable costs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Energetic and goal-oriented personality with a proven ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
- Required presence in Duck Donuts shop(s) daily with potential for travel between locations.
